Receipt texting, with you in control.

Halvsies receipt texting lets you send a photo and request a private link to review it. The service is available only when a texting number is shown as active on our receipt texting page.

By sending a receipt to that number, you request transactional replies about your receipt, including a review link or instructions if we cannot accept the photo. Message frequency depends on your requests. We do not send marketing texts or enroll you in promotional messages. Receipt texting is optional; uploading a photo on the website also works.

Message and data rates may apply from your carrier. Delivery and availability can depend on your carrier. Halvsies and carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

Reply STOP to stop receipt-text replies. Reply START to request them again. Reply HELP for instructions, or use “Report a problem” on the website for support. Phone sign-in codes are sent separately when you request them.

Send only receipts you are entitled to share. Open the private link using the phone number you sent from, and review the extracted items and amounts before sharing a split. Halvsies does not move money or confirm payments. Do not forward your private review link; share the invitation created after reviewing instead.
